TIM’s powerful broadcast alerting tools can be used to send corporate-wide announcements and incident notifications, and the same capability can be used for automated alerts to your external users account holders via SMS to notify them of important account information and allow your customers to use SMS to quickly browse to your mobile websites and update their own contact information.
One-Time Passwords (OTP)
for 2nd-factor Login Authentication
TIM is able to generate a unique security token which can be sent via SMS to your customers’ and employees’ mobile devices as a One-Time-Password (OTP). This OTP is then used as a 2nd form of login authentication. OTP via SMS eliminates the need for a hardware token, and provides a low-cost way to capture a 2nd form of identity verification from your users. TIM is also compatible with RSA SecureID and can be used when RSA hardware tokens aren’t feasible or desired.
